Our college has successfully completed five decades of its establishment and excellence, and we have entered the sixth decade. Education plays an important role in the development of a nation. At our college, we provide a supportive environment to the students for their holistic development to meet the need of the nation. It is a privilege to work with students and staff to make our college a center of excellence. The broad philosophy of “Ratanites” is to prepare the youth of today to face the challenges of tomorrow and we have gradually and successfully transformed ourselves from ‘consumers of knowledge’ to ‘producers of knowledge’. It has fulfilled its ideal of 'nourishing the mind'. The college has a rich tradition of high academic excellence and holistic personal development of students. The aim of education is to develop the ability of our students to think, learn and reason on facts, at Ratan Sen Degree College this is provided to them by providing them with excellent academic environment, state-of-the-art infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories and by developing the skills in them.
Our goal is to create a safe and challenging environment that is based on positive relationships to best develop students emotionally, socially and academically to serve the nation.
